Help please. My favorite hen is acting very lethargic today. She hasn't layed any eggs in a few days, which I chalked up to the heat. She is just sitting on the nest box and isn't interested in much. Her comb is red, but she's not making any sounds and seems to be warm and panting a bit.
I don't have much experience in feeling her crop, which I thought felt distended and mushy, but when I went out to massage it, it seemed fine.
She ate a tiny bit of yogurt I gave her, but hasn't moved from her nest box. I got her out and she made a clear poop with what looked like undigested green layer pellets in it. She moved slowly into her coop and went back to her box.
WHAT SHOULD I DO???
