Also.... The fuzzball Brahmas! They are thriving in the smaller space and with my old blue heat lamp. just upped their waterer size this morning. Now to clean up their messes

Salt is very protective of his sis Pepper
-he still only has the very tip of his wing feathers, Pep has quite a bit of her wings coming in.

What kind of space do you have for them? These are also symptoms of over crowding and boredom.

I went back and viewed your photos. It looks like you have plenty of space. Maybe it's not divided effectively?

Yeah I'm thinking that too. I'm going to look up different ways to divide the inside and try to redo it

Thank you! The brahma fluffs are almost two weeks old but I don't think they'll do good out with others so going to love them inside for a while longer.

The kittens are pretty cute!

My baby Welsummer Roo got tangled in some fencing tonight..

I'm not sure he'll make it through.. he's pretty bad. He's just laying in his kittie carrier. He was shaking pretty bad and was trying to help but i was a mess so yeah. Everything is closed vet can't see till tomorrow as well.

Maybe he is in shock, keep him warm and quiet. Does he have wounds/bleeding? Maybe just got very frightened. Might have thought something grabbed him and would eat him.

Report is that His leg swelling is going down some! he even stood for a bit this morning! (slivered carrot is way too great of a treat to just sit!) i got him to finally eat and drink too! I'm still concerned about his wing but since i thought leg was broken (he had gotten it through one hole and then back the joint into a different hole and got it wedged there, still scratching my head on how he did that!) I'm just going to let him rest in the carrier for the next few days, which means i might have to reintroduce him, but he's a pretty scrappy lil Roo. I was super excited to see that he was alert this morning!

He does have some scrapes where the feathers were rubbed off on his side. all i had was neosporin so i dabbed a very tiny bit on it. I really need to get a poultry med kit set up!

Im so glad for the good progress. I'm sure he's a tough boy and will pull through.
