I just checked her and I feel a hard spot that I think may be a egg. I think she is egg bound after all. She just pooped a small very very green entirely watery poop. How do I help her?

False alarm upon closer inspection it was her pelvic bone but I did see something else. She has some yellow/green feathers by her vent area that look like they’re falling out of her. Is that something to be worried about or am I feeling myself out

Can you get a pic of this? when you mean yellow green is this discolored from poop? or her natural color feather but they are falling out. And a picture of her poop.

She is a grey Muscovy with white feathers on the belly and the feathers that are coming out are neon yellow. They are really difficult to take a good picture of because they are fairly small

I am going to tag @casportpony to look at that poop. She may not be eating much.

Is a vet an option? I ask because that poop is something to be concerned about. The color could mean that she hasn't been eating much, but that color can also be the sign of infection.

It isnt sadly. I’m only fifteen and my parents won’t shell out for a vet and even if they did there aren’t any nearby who take ducks. I’m caught in a rock and a hard place.

They might. It all depends on how much they cost. What all can I do for my baby? I was thinking about taking her in for a nice warm soak. Then trying to get her to eat some feed with some probiotic yogurt that we have and putting some apple cider vinegar in her water to help her immune system.
