Well, I just got my eight gals this spring and they just started laying this summer.... they are all laying very well right now

Yayyy im waiting for my 2 Rhode Island reds to start laying. Ones getting a bigger comb and redder.

Egg Update:
Hazel didn't lay today. She either needed a rest or they are on strike at the moment because I won't let them out of the coop. Im too scared of foxes now.

Random Story:
Just over 12 months ago we were camping at a dam with friends and family. When we were camping we went down to the dam for a swim and my partner lost his expensive sunglasses that I bought him for his Birthday. Couldn't find them anywhere. So today I got a random message from my partners step mum with a photo of his dad wearing his sunglasses. They had found them in a blow up lounge in their camping stuff. They don't have a scratch on them and are in perfect condition.
How lucky is that!

Flock Update - Egg Stats:
Today Hazel has officially laid 20 eggs. Geezzz shes amazing. But todays was abit whiter then usual. Is that a sign of something or normal?

They are all EEs, but it has gotten colder, so I can't blame them for slacking off a bit.
