Lol! They’ll calm down they are still practically puppies at this point. My puppy that I’m training to be a guard dog is NUTS! She is a wild child. I know not to wear anything nice out there because she will get mud on it. We are working with her though and she has gotten better. I think she will mellow out when we get her some goats to care for. She can play and romp with them, and she can’t do that with the chickens.

I forgot to ask Jordan about a puppy but we are going away this weekend for 2x 40th Birthday parties and we have started planning out camping trips and just started a small business so at the moment we won't have much time to train a puppy.

The Koala is still chilling in our yard going from tree to tree.

Next Years Plan:
I am starting to think of the things I want to achieve next year. I achieved all my goals this year so it got me thinking whats next?

I have decided im going to put money away each week to build a bigger chicken coop maybe build it if I get enough money together if not that will be the year after.
I want to build a veggies patch for next spring.
I want to cook more yummy meals.
I want to do 2 camping trips/getaways each year.
I want to exercise more.
Focus on our little household goals we make throughout the year.

What's your goals for next year? Let's all make some? And start marking some off?

Today Hazel didn't lay again? Do you think shes angry with me for not free ranging them at the moment? Is she on strike?

She may just be taking a break. They do that from time to time. Most of my adult layers are on strike, but that's normal for my time of year. Days are getting shorter, weather is cold and wet and many are molting.
