I'm raising several breeds, so the short answer is too many!! hahahha I recently sold most of my adults (kept the Golden Laced Cochins) and got chicks and eggs of other breeds. I don't know how many to be honest, but there's a lot of them. As the chicks grow up, I'll sell some and keep some. They range from around 4 months to 2 weeks. Niederrheiner, A.Cemani, 55 Flowery, Swedish Flower Hen, Alsteirer, CCLegbar, 2 Silver Laced Orpington (I think I got a boy & a girl, but probably won't keep them), BCMarans for a nice color contrast (I hope!) lol I have an Isbar (original first line bloodline) with 3 EE hens. Those young hens will be sold. A couple of years ago I'd made some IceCreamBars (Isbar x CCLegbar) and they were really great chickens AND they were auto-sexing for at least 3 generations. Their leg & beak color told their sex (black = girl, yellow = boy). So I'm going to make some of them again. : )

Wow thats really cool! I hope to learn more from you love. That would be cool being able to tell the gender by colours. Its so hard to tell the gender I research and research lol. Im not too concerned though im not getting rid of any anytime soon. Mine should be trying to crow soon I have read anyways.

Out of hatching eggs, I managed to get two hens and three cockerels to adult. They are the base of my breeding stock. Lost two of the cockerels in what I thought was a predator proof shelter. The coons jumped up and down on the top until the staples gave had dinner then tore a hole in the wire to exit. I've since screwed 2X4 welded wire and 1/2" hardware cloth on the doors and wrapped the entire structure in 1/2" welded wire. Also replaced the poly electric wire with steel. That shelter worked for two years as built... but I now know how to build them better.

Some animals are just way too smart for their own good! Thats crazy!
At the moment I haven't seen any snakes but there was a massive I mean massive lizard on our driveway sunning himself the other day. He was beautiful but wayyy to big!
