Extremely Bad News:
Unfortunately this morning Tank has passed away. He was hit by a car
Im ok but Jordan not so much as he seen it happen. I thought I should let you all know as you all thought he was beautiful like we did.

So so sorry Krystal my thoughts are with you and Jordan

Thank you both so much. Jordan is taken it so hard but Tank knew we loved him. Jordan was holding him when he took his last breath. The driver was ok but his wife was an absolute mess. Another lady pulled over and said theres a vet close by but Jordan said its too late. He was gone at that point. We put a flower on his grave last night and both had a good cry together but its only hit me today. The house is quiet and I heard a noise and thought Tank is up and then it hit me. Jordan buried him with his blanket and favorite pig so his not alone.

I checked this morning no more eggs yet. I have let them out so it will be interesting if she goes in and lays in the box again.

Krystal, I'm sorry but I just don't have any words to make it better.
All I can say is that over time, the pain will start to shift to those happy memories that make you smile. My avatar passed more than a year ago and we still have good days and bad days, but more good than bad. Our pets are very much like children and it leaves a huge hole in our lives when they pass.

Egg Number 2 has entered the world!
Hazel has laid her 2nd egg!!!

Weather update:
Severe thunderstorm has just hit us. We now have no power. And have had about 3mm thats when we could last see anyways before we lost power. Dam is overflowing. Yard looks like a lake lol.

Flock update:
After we lost power Jordan and I were sorting lighting with our power hub when Hazel comes running around the corner like crazyy going off her little head and I look out the window and the rest of the chickens are running out of the coop. They all ran into the garden and Hazel ran to tell us somethings wrong. So Jordan and I went straight to the coop and are ready to deal with a snake so we are both looked around then in the coop but couldn't find anything. I think something has fallen on the coop and scared them. But I was soooo proud of Hazel she knew to come get mummy and daddy and we will help. But then she was telling Jordan shes staying on the veranda lol its funny as she gets her lil talk on lol.
