Need help with malpositioned pigeon chick!!

Pics
I suppose so but cant help feeling it was something i did :( maybe i opened it too much while i was helping the first one. Its crazy how attached you become, i am hoping for a miracle :fl
Sorry about the second one. :hugsThats a real shame. Like everyone said you gave them both a real chance. I'm sure it nothing you did my pigeons are on and off the eggs alot and so far all mine hatched. Your gonna have your hands full with feeding this little one now but it seems your getting the hang of it! Be prepared for a very friendly little chappy that will also enjoy using your head for a perch! Don't they @biophiliac!:)

Slept for longer than i should have but he was still full of beans when i got him! Ive added a few pictures of him eating and also he has put on another gram :D

Glad you got some sleep!
Those babies fall under the so-ugly-they-are-cute rule, I do believe! :D

I know I could look it up, but you guys could probably answer this and help me and any later reader...how does a momma pigeon feed a little one? I mean, not in the wild, but pet ones.
And is there a different name for a baby pigeon? Chick? Piggie? :D

Hey @WVduckchick i found this...
Young dependant pigeons are commonly known as 'squabs'. Both parents feed the young with a special 'pigeon milk' that is regurgitated and fed to the squabs. Each squab can double its birth weight in one day but it takes 3 days before the heart starts beating and 4 days for the eyes to open.

I copied and pasted, just didnt get the quotation marks....
