Here we go! Day zero for me. I have shipped eggs that are currently not being turned with non-shipped eggs that are being hand turned. Removing the turner tray and hand turning is also a good way to fit extra eggs in the beginning. Later when clears are removed the turner can go back in. My air cells are loose though, so I have a whole complicated regimen to follow. :fl

How is everyone doing? I intended to be really good and not candle early (or often) but since I'm hand turning, it's been really hard! When you already have your hands on the eggs and the lid open what's the harm in lifting one or two or three and innocently shining a light on them? I'm only on Day 4! At this stage the "spiders" are very visible though. I even see development in some of my shipped eggs. I haven't touched or turned them at all yet but tomorrow I'll begin tilting them gently.

ETA here's what I can see alreadyyyy!

I feel ya- the temptation is real. I just HAD to sneak a peek on the 5th day- I was able to see the little embryo and the eye. It's amazing, really.
