I have a problem with receiving. Does that make sense? It's like I'm too loud... or too scared... or too self centered... or too something.
Has anyone else experienced this before... and if so, what did you do?
I used the phrase " putting my energy out there"... what I wanted tosay, was "I don't seem to have a problem
broadcasting"
I have the burden of being a natural receiver in some areas.
Only for a brief period in my early 20's I had a problem. I was "too" focused on putting my self out there. I was trying "too" hard.
Your answer lies within you. "Too" (Nice introspective thinking by the way..)
I would suggest working on experiencing more awe for life, get down, get humble, cry, let it all in, be aware of all around you, feel it. Volunteer, Face a fear, Carry a larger burden.. (Such as getting more Chickens..
)
Think about it. Being able to "receive" is a major component in most ever Religion. From Fasting, kneeling and or bowing in prayer, to Monks living in isolation without money and having to rely on others for food. All of humanity seeks mechanisms to receive one another and the greater.
Again IMO, The use of the word "energy" is a good one. Though words like,prayer, broadcast, channeling, meditation and hundred if not thousands of other words from every culture on the globe would work.. Even the "force" in George Lucas's Star Wars is a recognition of something more.
Personally, I like the word energy, and find it descriptive and humbling. It is in everything from a quark to a galaxy.
Better stop here....
