My ob/gyn was like that, come prepared to camp out for the day. He never rushed, took his time with me when I needed the extra time and I knew he was doing the same for others. I hate you had to wait, but glad he listened to you.

So sorry, Misty and Cappy. Here's hope that today turns around for you both

We seem to have lost another chicken. One of the brat pack. DH did the coop(s) and run today, since I can barely lift my arms (ok seriously, how hard did I pull that damn chicken?!?!?) and found her wedged between the roost and nest box. Frozen solid, so we don't know what happened yet. I'm not sure if we're quite up to the task of doing a defrost and examination, simply because there isn't anyplace we CAN defrost her, except inside the house... and that's gonna be a big ass NO for me.

According to Google, and about 14 different maps, from the years 1990 until 2015, I am located in zone 6... wait, no... zone 7... wait wait wait... no... zone 6b... wait.... 7a... no no no wait a minute... zone 6b/7a.. so, picking WHEN to plant shouldn't be too difficult... right?!?!?
