Hello everybodeeeeeeee!!!!!! I was going to guess two, but oh well! Welcome to the thread, @The Great Eel Man!!! Ugh, the cold front just hit us, and I'm hating it. My face has developed a constant flush from the wind chap I got yesterday while blowing leaves. I am not looking forward to leaving the comfort of my house in a few minutes to walk to the bus. I can hear the wind from in here! Sigh.

Pulley system outside the run? Brilliant idea!!

I have a set up very similar. My door is in tracks on the outside of the coop. Big eye hook on the top of the door. Rope runs up to a pulley and over to the side of the run. I tied a carabiner on the rope and clip it to the fence to keep it open.

I missed the part about from outside. That would have been great. Pics? I go in to scoop the poop in the am anyway, but it'd be nice to free them before I go in.

That's what I do. The first time I didn't was when one of the roosters thought he'd try and show me he was boss. He lost that battle but neither of us was happy with the situation. He's tried one or two more times since. Always in the coop. So now I escort him to the pop door before I leave the coop.
