Well, I had an interesting morning.

I've had an interesting morning so far. Feels like it should be much later than 9:30ish.

I woke up at 5:30 am so I could get to my 7am Chiropractor appointment. It took me forever to get on the road because my car heater wouldn't work properly, it was 23 degrees, and my windows were frosted over. Fortunately, that started working around the time I got my toast and cream cheese ready. Then, when I got on the highway, I got on it going the wrong direction. Which REALLY sucks because the next exit up is 12 miles away, meaning a 24 mile detour, running my tank down to E, and making me 20 min late to my appointment. Fortunately, they were fine with my notification. I then got back and had to deal with feeding my mom's horses since my parents are out of state so they can probate my Grandmother's will.

@Redhead Rae -
You and the MD, please don't go anywhere for a few days.
Just stay home.
Too late for me. :p MD shouldn't go anywhere until Sunday (for church), but I'm contemplating keeping him with me rather than sending him to the nursery. He loves music, but he now makes a beeline to the steps down to the classrooms now.
You are so pretty Rae!
Thanks!
Thank you!
He is too cute. Looks like he might had the most perfect squishy thighs??? If so eat them for me!
He did, but his legs are lengthening out and he is loosing his baby chub. :hit
I'll 'nom his little feet for you if you like.

MMBH is such a cutie patootie Rae... nom his lil toes.... I STILL nom PICS lil toes.... well, when the aren't all man sweaty.... :sick

I slept in this morning, as I was woken up around 0430 with Buddy's body *humming*. I knew what was coming but didn't have time to grab a towel, so he ended up peeing my blanket when he has his seizure.

We ended up getting DH up about 15 minutes early to take the bubbies out to go potty, but that was OK. PIC also woke up.

Currently, Buddy is on anti seizure meds. He ends up having 1-2 back to back seizures about once every 2 months or so. And they are ALWAYS in the middle of the tatering night!!!

We will NOT up his medication, for several reasons. The meds have side effects that CAN shorten his life. We love him so we want him to live as long as possible, without having liver and kidney damage. Also, on a higher dosage, his personality is completely different. He becomes EXCESSIVELY aggressive, mostly towards DH and food; he paces, gets mouth foamy, and pees and poops all over the house. After a long, heartfelt talk within myself (as I knew *I* would be the one who would be dealing with it), I decided the 1-2 once in a while, middle of the night seizures were a good trade off compared to NO seizures, but having to CONSTANTLY monitor him, lock him up whenever we eat, keep him away from DH most of the time, putting him in his kennel at night cause he'll tear up the house if he's out while we're asleep, etc.

And keep your germs to yourselves!

Good morning!
I have to tell you b/c I know you can relate.. this am it was a whole 18 degrees and there were teens walking to school in hoodies and light jackets... b/c 18 degrees is warm now. BUT we are supposed to hit 53 later today!!! The weather guy calls it a 'roller coaster' b/c we get a day or 2 of warm weather, then back to cold.. perfect for breeding germs.

When you said you got on the freeway going the wrong way I thought you meant you were driving the wrong direction on the freeway and I was like .

53! :love

I hate those warm days because they make everything soggy.

Me too. The path out to the coop (and everything else for that matter) is all mud. At least the cold weather firms it up a bit, but with each thaw it just turns back to mud.. same with the run, then everyone is dirty. Not to mention warm weather means rain.. rain that can't get through the frozen dirt below the layer of mud so it makes it even more muddy.
