A youngin infiltrated our domain and stirred up a ruckus.

We have a sick Silkie in our midst

Cappy is still sick but tired of doing nothing

RJ popped in for a visit

Stacey made cupcakes and tempted us with pictures but no tastings

Smuv is......well she is Smuv

And my pee smells like smoked ham

Notice, I am *just smuv* :hit

I met my wife at a restaurant she was eating there with her friends and i couldn’t take my eyes off her. One of her friends asked me to join them and that was that.

DH and I met at a bar, 2 days after I kicked a cheating BF out of the apt. I was at a bar, drinking my sorrows away. Some dude was hitting on me so DH came up and offered him money to leave me alone. He took $10! That's right... no cheap hooker here!!!

Nope. Just nope. Sorry, Banty.
I'm gonna clutch my pearls and say it.
I'm not on this earth to negatively influence someone's else kid.
Not gonna talk about vodka, or any other naughty stuff.
I am not comfortable having adult banter with a kid in the room so to speak, even though I try not to use language etc.

I really enjoy the friendships I've found here and I don't want to jeopardize the camaraderie of this thread,
But if "kids" start coming, then everyone here needs to do some self-reflection before posting about certain subjects.
Oh and banty-:hugs this isn't directed AT you. Your post just inspired me to speak up.

BYC is a family friendly forum. Right? If so, everything should be PG at the most.

Agreed. Too young.
We are a bunch of war torn veteran parents for the most part here.
And we are here to get away from our kids.
THIS is exactly why you are the leader smuvy!

I want to answer everyone here. Yes, BYC is a family friendly place. Yes, WE all are family friendly people. HOWEVER, we do a LOT of winkwink nudgenudge jokes, sly innuendo, adult situational things.

This thread is QUITE TAME compared to some others I have seen.... so, to filter people who come in? Yeah, I think that would be a good idea. I don't want to get reported because someone became *offended*, and OUR THREAD got shut down for a *cleaning* that was not necessary.

Oh, that's scary. So she's healed up now? I was paranoid about letting my chickens out after hearing ppl having birds lose toes to frostbite.
Sorta. Still has the bandage on, but she's looking good. :yesss:

All my bantams lose a few toes or comb bits to frostbite, and some LF too. It's not a big deal, they rarely get infected.

Yeah, i keep meaning to stockpile chocolate but i keep eating it!:gig
Chocolate doesn't keep. I know this because my Children never eat all the candy they get for Easter Halloween or Christmas then I sneak it later and it's always gross. Except Cadbury Eggs which I will eat regardless regardless of their age.
Kitkats are the worst when old.

This morning one of my meat project roos died... I had a cx hen and hatched a pullet and 3 roos. The 3 roos have frostbite on their big combs... but this ones issue was astices..belly full of watery liquid.,. He was almost 15 months old.... Glad I kept all 3 boys.. the one that died was the one I used for breeding last year... I have a couple of his sons and lots of daughters.

Which is deeply saddening because they are my favorite, but that crispy little layer gets stale quick.

Oh that's sad @Molpet !
I'm sorry.
