@CapricornFarm I’m sorry for your losses. I’m worried every time I go out to the coop that I might find a dead bird. Unfortunately I’ve done it several times.

I went and got more coal today. 1000 lbs of it. I still have some of the bulk but I’m always worried with the weather. If it snows to deep I won’t be able to get more into the basement.

Cleaned out the coop too! Yea! 6 wheelbarrow loads of poo and shavings. Threw down the last of my PDZ and I’m going to let it dry out a bit. I’ll pick up more PDZ then put some shavings down again.

3 eggs so far too. Got an Olive one for the first time this year. And my old leghorn is still going.

OK.... all I read through the 50 pages was PICS.... and since I am grand ruler of the Squatches, I'll go first:

I'm encouraging mine to get moving on getting rid of some of his junk, sounds counterproductive to send him to the junkyard but it's hidden genius lol! He's got two of the same vehicle, separate they don't run but together they just might and he needs pieces and parts soooo i sent him on an expedition. Maybe just maybe i can get one of these junkers gone. I already traded one of his non runners for roof tin.:)
I love the bone yard. Same here wet rainy, hubby sleeping, kiddo watching t.v.

I'm fortunate sometimes I trip over a bike or car part, but since his illness it's medical equipment we trip over :)
