Official Squatch Watchers

No not really they are all skittish but nothing crazy. The girls are making some noise but no panic. I got a small couple videos I'll post later.

Cappy,
Do you hand quilt your creations? Machine quilt? Send off for finishing?
Inquiring minds really want to know. :caf :pop

:woot Sam!!! No one going all crazy trying to mangle the others?

Did the shopping, used my coupons, bought on sale, walked out with a full cart including meat items AND veggies! Forgot milk......jk!

Got everything except fresh items that don't keep for the whole month! I will do short trips to Sprouts for fresh things. Got outta there spending 150 and saving a little over 90.
:yesss: I love saving money at the grocery store!

So my Bluebar starting laying in Nov. She is about 8 months old. She layed about 5-6 eggs then didn't lay again til about 2 weeks ago. Shes laid maybe 6 eggs ...3 were normal and the others were thin shelled and had a small hole in the pointed end. Yesterday I gave her 300mg of calcium. This morning she layed another wrinkly thin shelled egg. How long til the calcium helps and should I giver her more? I know too much can be bad too

I mostly hand quilt, but occasionally use the machine to sew pieces together. And i do sometimes machine quilt if the quilt is going to see heavy use, like for kids. I enjoy hand quilting. Never sent one off to be finished, but have mailed a few i was sending as gifts.

I would give her a couple days for the calcium to get circulated and put to use. If she is eating layer pellets that should make up any deficiency.

Thanks 21.....that s what Im hoping too

Suzie, the whole calcium thing is a bit bloated. If she will take it, that's ok. I feed my roosters layer and they do fine. When they are past their prime (2 years) their livers look fine.

ETA: The only time my roosters are on different feed is during the 30 day cool off, when they are in the bachelor pad... They get rooster booster feed.
