Official Squatch Watchers

I have to train mine to the electric wire... Will start that this weekend.

They are snuggled up together in their new house, as its 29* here. When I put them in the paddock last night it was so fun to watch and a bit sad. They've never seen grass before... They lived in an 8X8 shed for three of them. Now they're in an 8X40 paddock. Ham sleeps with his head on Bacon's rump.
I am sure they are, or will be soon, thankful for their new life. I am glad they have each other.

Hello and good morning new and lurking peeps.
A trip to the grocery store is in order today and attempt to put ornaments on the tree. I wasn’t going to put up a second tree, but since I got all these new dang cardinal ornaments, I may have to.
Get some of those command hooks, string up some garland around your doorways and attach the ornaments there... unless you already have an extra tree.

bacon just came out for a snack and a drink, then scurried back into her house.

ETA: Yea, I'm a bit obsessed... Up to 33* standing on the deck in shorts watching the pigs.
That is how I go check on the chickens, in flip flops and shorts. My husband’s hunting buddies have been driving by all weekend going to the shop to get their supplies from the Montana trip. If they didn’t know I was the crazy chicken lady, they do now! We could totally make it up north.

Where they are living now is going to be my herb garden. I never got around to clearing all the invasive weeds and preparing the soil last year, so I figure the kids can do that for me and fertilize it as well.

BTW, they're both out now, tails wagging and rooting around doing what pigs do. Still worried about the fence, but we'll see.

I do have an extra tree, I wasn’t going to get it out this year. If we host Christmas, I will probably get it out. If we don’t, the ornaments will probably go on the regular tree or wait until next year. We have our hodge-podge tree in the den and I have always wanted an “adult” tree. I think the adult tree is red and silver. Anyway.

My SIL does theme trees each year. Not sure what she does with the decorations each year though. This year it's country houses. Last year her tree was decorated as a giant snowman. At my house I let my kids pick an ornament each year (unless I find an amazing one myself) and our tree is mostly either ornaments they've made, or chosen each year. When they're grown up they can take their ornaments with them if they want. It's cute to see how much their interests have changed over the years. They both have the same Hannah Montana ornament & are always embarrassed to put them on the tree now. lol I think the ornament thing is the best part of putting the tree up. Then I have some of the glittery / shiny balls to fill in the spaces. Our 'angel' is Cas from Supernatural.

I smile every time I see "milk drinker"...such a happy time for me!
I borrowed that phrase from you when you asked me if I had a "milk drinker" a while back. I like that phrase. There are times I wish he would be done (mostly when he cluster feeds in the middle of the night) but I would settle for night weaned. But I'm not going to force the issue since milk is the mainstay of his diet.

I love this book I got for the grand daughter. I made her food until she started eating with us.
