I have read his thread he mixed a cx with a ranger and then breed the offspring back to a cx. I think that was the process if I remember correctly. He had a huge rooster bigger than a propane tank . I don't remember how much he said they eat
 
Ralph is a man in and of his own, so who knows. I was supposed to meet his mom at an exit on the interstate at one point, and then he only had I think 2 viable eggs out of 50 or something. I decided to go ahead and work out issues with another breed and chose Buckeyes. They've been difficult enough to find... yeesh!
In a what?? :P

Yeah, hatchability on them things stinks. Buckeyes are awful pretty, but like you said, SO hard to find.
