Before she was known as Gimpy Girl I called her Road Runner. That's what she reminded me of. So yes, used that leg just fine. The foot with the bumble is now the one she uses. I thought she strained herself by over compensating for the bumble foot but I have no idea what stiff joints, rock hard muscle and fluid under the skin adds up to. On only one leg too. It's So weird. Of course that's why I'm seeing it. If it were normal it wouldn't be my chicken.
bumblefoot infection can travel up the leg and even get into the bone.It's just a skin infection, chickens got skin so probably so, its caused by staph and step,chickens can definitely have those bacteria on them.
