This is chow time I'm forcing everyone to eat together it's time to share lol! Everyone is pretty much the same size and equally bossy and I'm tired of so many darn bowls. It's working! Two of my fatties were eating the little bit of grass sprouting, and Hobo obviously was craving squirrel.

I just ordered an incubator off Amazon (never hatched before), and am bidding on Serama eggs on Ebay (which I said I would never, ever do). I NEED more chickens. Badly. It's like a freaking, burning itch in my veins that will not go away.

I actually said this to my husband:

"I am not being manipulative. I swear" (I really was not. I swear to you guys).

"But I am really, really freaking depressed over my mom dying. And the crap with my job. And the only thing--THE ONLY THING--that will make me feel better, is if you let me get some more chickens, because I need something to love, and to get excited about. I cannot start seeds (my normal dealing-with-death outlet) because nothing will grow here."

"So. Can I please get your blessing to get a few more chickens? They will be small."

OK, really, I was serious. Not manipulative!!! I swear! I've just been--sososo sad. And of course, he said yes.

So, there it is. I'm gonna try my hand at hatching some little adorable, frizzy, Afro'd Seramas. If I win them on Ebay.

(Little does he know that he will probably have to eventually build me another--albeit, very small--coop! )
