Well I’m having a problem figuring out who is laying eggs all over the yard and even in the floor of the coop. Once i do what I should do about it. I read locking them up in a nest box but never tried it. Any input?

keep the fake eggs/golf balls in the nest boxes and leave them in the coop until noon or so.. if they lay in the morning.. I have some that lay in the afternoon

Locking them up in the coop not the nest box.

Isn't that funny...when I first got chickens I just assumed they laid in the morning.
I was really shocked to find out the truth.

Yep.....I could shove a stick up her tater and bring her inside to dust the beams in the ceiling

yeah some people have them lay in the morning... mine didn't get the memo or they are just rebels

I am used to it now but geez...them laying all hours of the day didn't come in the instruction booklet.
