I am hanging in there rooting for Sam's bitty babies to pop!

Today when I got home around 2I saw your post but didn’t want to comment there. How long has it been since you saw the pip?
Good to know. I think I will build one with a fan and a larger ice chestWord to the wise, these ones are super finicky and one of mine doesn’t regulate temps well.
I had that problem until i went with a sponge in a bowlI am going to make a wooden box with styrofoam insulation to set mine in. I put a bit of water in because humidity was low and now its way high. I need to get it stabilized so i can put the guinea eggs in. Shooting for tomorrow .
I am too i really had my doubts but whala here i am. I want to try with no shell and hatch one.I am hanging in there rooting for Sam's bitty babies to pop!

I love DIY bators! I have a pretty snazzy one, if I do say so myself. Only $45 too.I am hanging in there rooting for Sam's bitty babies to pop!

If you aren't seeing signs of things gumming up around the pip, I wouldn't bother it. If it isn't hatched tomorrow afternoon I would seriously consider widening the pip at least. I started helping one of my last hatch about 5 hours after I saw the pip because it pipped in the side of the egg and fluids were gumming up around the poor thing's beak and nostrils. I don't think she would have survived if I didn't help. I also helped another when I saw blood and a malpresentation. He pecked through his blood supply. I don't think he would have made it either. So now I have 6 11 week old chicks running around instead of 4.Today when I got home around 2

No wonder, they use so much plastic. Same as mine. I have not figured out how to regulate the temperature with this digital controWord to the wise, these ones are super finicky and one of mine doesn’t regulate temps well.
