For the generator, add up the total watts needed to run your maximum number of incubators and brooders, find the generator that will do it, then go to the next model up so you have enough power for unexpected stuff that may happen during power outages. If you can afford it, maybe get a standby generator that automatically kicks in when the power goes out.

I'll get something I can use to keep my computer running so I can work and cycle my freezers through for a couple hours every day. I can't do a full house unit until we get the electrical redone (5-10 years down the road). I'll just take a break to hook things up when that happens.

I just got the Milk Drinker to sleep. Poor guy has a cold and is stuffed up. No wonder why he's been finicky about food today.

I'm going to go check on the incubator before heading to bed. I had two chicks last I looked and one pipped egg that was working on zipping.
