Official Squatch Watchers

The thing is that she will pee a decent amount twice while I have her out. It is only occasionally that she oopses. Super random on when it happens.

I think its really still that she doesn't get much notice from her body that she needs to go pee. For big potty she will now find me and bark then head for the door. That is an every time thing.

I am very happy for you and Cooper. He's so adorable! :love
....and then he peed on the floor! :he(5 minutes after he peed outside) :barnie
Lol
Well start over again tomorrow.

How old is your puppy again?
The bladder muscle doesn’t start to mature til 16-20 weeks. Then real progress:fl happens. Until then I’m glad I have a Costco membership for paper towels.;)

Let's see.......
December 23 she was 13 weeks.....
That makes her........about 27 weeks now.
Part of me wonders if her kidneys got damaged since where I got her used bleach to worm the dogs. Not something I agree with or will even pretend to believe in.

And as I typed this she stopped tug of war to bark for out! We went, she peed, we played ball and came back in.

:hugs aww Cooper. Each day is a learning day little guy.
He's got a good home with you Stacey. He'll get it. :hugs

I do get what you are saying. I really do. We are doing those things and she definitely is improving all the time.

Boy howdy no kidding on understanding fairness! You can easily see it when they think something isn't fair.

Bought 4 new toys since there are 4 dogs. Not that they needed more toys......
Sable stole the old guys toys causing them to both come lay their heads in my lap to pout about it.
My Chihuahua came with 3 toys. (None dog.) 2 ducks and a babies first doll rattle. We lost one duck so he is down to 2 toys. He will only play with those! I've tried every toy possible. Even bought another my first doll rattle. Nope! Sealed old and new doll in a bag overnight. Nope. My ACD knows not to play with those 2 toys. They are his and only his. Dogs are weird sometimes.

Weird dog for sure!

Mine are all toy hoarders.

At least they don't snark when someone else grabs the toy.

Folks I need your thoughts.... I'm trying to market my eggs and meat.

What do you think?

We are Johnson squared family farm, new to smith county. We raise heritage breeds of chickens, ducks, and turkeys that are on the livestock conservancy watch, threatened or critical lists. We sell eggs and meat from our heritage stock and are willing to take custom orders for BBW turkeys or CX chickens. All are raised on a non-gmo ration and are allowed to express themselves as God intended. My birds have a pasture surrounded by electric fence to keep the furry critters away and shelters to sleep in at night. But they have free run of the forest and pastures during the day.

How would you edit the above?

Some people don't want to have an animal that is threatened killed so they can eat it.. although some will be excited to eat something endangered... I know it is how the livestock concervancy lists them, but people may be thinking they need to be saved in a zoo type of thing... Not realizing they are helping the breed by eating them

I understand what you are saying. I was talking to someone about wanting to get LF White Cornish for meat birds and how hard they are to get a hold of. The person I was talking to said "If the are so hard to get a hold of, why do you want to eat them?" I told them that I will "Breed the best, eat the rest."

Yes I had the same conversation with my brother when I told him I was on a list to get those same Cornish.

So, I’ve come to a heart wrenching decision, if I want to accomplish my chicken keeping goals, I really need to drastically SIMPLIFY my flock. My goals: meat, eggs, and broodies.

I am feeling somewhat sick about the whole thing, but I’m probably selling most of my buffs, all the Delawares, and some of my mutt birds. I may eventually get rid of my Cochins and New Hampshires too. I don’t know yet. I’m staring down the number 100 this week and realizing I’ve dug a pretty big hole for myself. I need to get my chicken math under control.
