Fairy was another one that I'd seen when I was trying to find names.. I actually looked at wedding dresses. My friend had a flowy wedding dress and I was looking for something that looked similar to hers when I found the woodland name.

Ugh... THIS is why I hate people (well, there are other reasons too). Good think you knew better than to just toss some eggs into it.

my theory is that the bra puts them where they belong so it makes you bigger when you're measuring.. Unless you're super perky to begin with. I am not perky.. personality, or otherwise. And they wonder why women have so much trouble finding the right size, not that I can come up with a better solution. My method is more Try it on, see if it fits, repeat until you're angry and grab which ever one you hate the least.

Oooo it sounds wonderful! I can't wait until it comes back around here. I think it *might* be next week.. but when it gets warm it rains so probably not.
LOL that sounds like something that would happen to me.

let them come up to room temp and put them into the incubator. Ages is more important then resting.

Turn them gently for the first 5 days or so

I have upright auto tuners. The guy who sent them said to leave them upright in the turner (with the turner off) for 2 days and then turn on the turner. He also said to hatch them upright because the air sacks may be detached. I carefully candled them and a few of the air cells I saw were loose.

That is perfect!

You can go three days without turning them. It depends on the air cell condition.

You will be letting them rest while incubating so you do not get the age penalty and get to rest them.

Shipped eggs do better in cut down cartons at lockdown so the advice is the way I do it. No resting at room temp for a day though. That is detrimental. Cold eggs can warm up for a couple of hours and then into the incubator they go!
