O...M...G...

I really hope I didn't just scramble my precious LF White Cornish eggs.

I took the turning rocker out of my Brinsea because I am not supposed to turn the eggs for 2 days.

Well, earlier I discovered that the heater in the room I kept the incubators in was getting cold and the Franken-bators were having a hard time keeping up. So, I moved my incubators to a warmer area of the house where I can keep a better eye on things.

I didn't realize that the rocker bar on the Brinsea, also kept the egg racks upright. So two trays of eggs got dumped, twice! Fortunately, none are cracked, and it was less than 1/2 from being in the cradle to being on the bottom of the incubator, but this was supposed to day 1 of 2 of being kept upright and still. I'm kinda freaking out a little.

I put the rocker back in and turned the turner off via the software (which I didn't think about doing before. :barnie

Hoping that everything will be ok!

Crazy story for you then @apryl29

The ex's mom was raised with one of her brothers by an aunt and uncle from their mothers side after their parents where killed. Story was the patents went out for dinner and left the kids with a neighbor lady. When they got home another local man shot and killed the babysitter and both parents. (Ex's mom has a through and through bullet wound. Her mom was holding her when she was shot) All three adults died and the man went on the run. (Caught a few towns away) The oldest son stayed with dads side of the family. The younger two children were sent to live with relatives from the moms side.

Finally in recent years the true story was revealed. The parents had gone out that night to decide what to do. The wife had been having an affair with the husband of a local couple that were friends of theirs. She agreed to end the affair and her lover didn't agree. He was the one who showed up and shot and killed 3 people that night. With a 23&me test done.... Ex's mom has half siblings who's father was the shooter... dun dun dun
Her and her brother were sent away because they were products of the affair!
Wow! How horrible. That's a huge family secret. So the rest of the family knew the 2 younger ones had a different father, or did they only figure it out later on? On my mom's side there's someone who got knocked up as a teenager and her parents raised the kid as their own. The child being told her actual mother was her sister. Eventually the truth came out, but it's kind of confusing to figure out that part of the family tree.

It really depends on how rough shipping was on the eggs. My guess is that they will be ok. The cornish eggs are not extra large in size? Smaller eggs seem to handle the stress better.

The jostling should be ok and not nearly as bad as shipping can be. Boxes can be dropped more than 6 feet into PO bins

Ok, this makes me feel better. The eggs were only in shipping for less than 36 hours (I'm only 1.5 hours from a MAJOR hub). So the box only made a few transfers.
