Thank you! I got them from a lady in Streetsboro OH. Not far from FNF. Thoreau (or Thor as my DH nicknamed him) has started crowing also. It's hysterical.
My coop started as a pre fab and I had a handy man make quite a few modifications. I just added some window boxes/window pots. I'll attach a pic. Im really happy how it turned out. A lot of rain here too .....humid and sticky today

Really nice looking coop. I am considering window boxes, but wonder if they would fly up and eat the flowers.

Thanks......I have a large window box on my big coop and they do sometimes fly up and sit in it. Never really do much damage though

Not even 11 am and the weather has driven me inside.


HOW do you people in wet climates survive!!!!

It is 75° and SOGGY at 45% humidity. I am dying in that. It feels like 90 to me.

Thanks, Stace! I never thought I would have boys, but now I have three and I love them.

Luckily, I live in a neighborhood with good people and plenty of chickens.

It's crazy, but backyard chickens seem to be the new black! Everywhere I go now, I see them. Yesterday we were at my nephew's first BD party at my sister's parents-in-law, and I went on their 2nd-floor deck and what did I see--a giant chicken run and some chooks strolling around in their next door neighbor's yard! I swear, they are everywhere now!!!

The town I live in is like a chicken underground.
It’s funny sometimes I see a combination of things in people’s shopping baskets at stores and the lightbulb goes on over my head.
I wish there was a secret handshake or something ...
Like the chicken dance polka...
But more subtle and on the down-low.

More “cool”.
Ah hahahahaha.

Yeah. I’m cool.
