It's in the next town over, but they've already closed the road. Apparently a school bus driver noticed the smoke. They're trying to keep the fire from spreading to the house. At least 3 departments are there.

I feel like you're not a real chicken person until you've stuffed a chicken in your shirt to keep it warm.

Yep... extra points if they poop in your bra and you just wipe it off and keep going.

I haven't done this with chicks yet, but I have done it with my Anole lizards and a friend's snake. The anoles like to poop when they get nice and warm.

Just saw on fb that a large barn near where I live that has tons of sheep is on fire. Lots of animals running around so hopefully the animals all made it out.

I do hope they had the sense to get them out. OMG that has to be terrifying.

Just use it in your hair, like product, lol.

I bet my mailman would just ask " Got one that isn't doing well?". He knows me to well lol!

My BFF thought I was nuts a couple weekends ago when I did that! Haha. It is my first instinct to warm them up.

Drs appointment went well. Dr said everything looks A-OK. Gonna need an internal ultrasound to check for fibroids on my ovaries, but everything else seems to be ok so far.


Right now just resting and will get back on my feet tomorrow. I'm drained.

This weekend is cattle panel hoop coop time! We decided to combine the Littles flock (which is 5 pullets, including Xena) with the Nuggets (Xenas 7 babies) into one coop. The FlufferButters will keep their pre fab coop FOR NOW, simply because they're stubborn female dogs and *set in their ways*... ain't even a year old yet too... shoot.... make me grumble under my breath......
