Me too. I'm hoping the nutridench will help. I'm going to head over during lunch and check on her. Her beak seems long. I assume b/c she's been sitting for several weeks and it hasn't been worn down. I'm going to make her some eggs too. At least it's fairly cool right now.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Yes to eggs, fish, chick feed, grapes, melons, nutri drench and maybe offer the chick feed in moistened state.

She does look exhausted. Poor dear.

As to the tree removal...... I think I will start with stripping branches from the trunk. As I get higher in the tree I will use the long pole saw so I am not under anything falling.
Luckily its only about 20' tall and those that high are small branches.
Phone on me always.

Especially since the day I got locked in the chicken run.

Here's some cuteness for you guys.

The The two large white ones are my LF White Cornish I hatched from shipped eggs. There are 3 LF Dark Cornish that are the same age. There are two smaller Cornish chicks, one that is 1.5 weeks younger than the oldest ones and one that is 3 weeks younger. The Oopsie chick (Buff/New Hampshire), the EEs and the Lavender Guineas are also 3 weeks younger than the oldest 5.

And this is happening right now! I have 6 eggs in the bator due to hatch today.

I've been really pleased with my Young Cornish. They aren't bullies to smaller birds. I've had as much as a 5 week age difference between them and the littles do just fine! I just need to make sure they can walk well before I move them to the brooder.

I bet they sound as cute as they look. I love the peeping!

I see what you did there...... heh heh heh

Hehehehe. :p

Well my apple tree is now a 4' tall stump. :(
It came apart quickly with just the gigantic pruners and a good bow saw.
I still need to drag everything to the truck to haul off.
It's hot already. :sick

I also need to take out a 20' tall pine tree and a large but unhealthy lilac.

Omg, its 90 flipping degrees in the flipping shade?! Ordered a suspiciously cheap pack and play crib off ebay to house the new girls for a bit, it sits off the ground a little so i don't have to stoop so much. Might even have me a little fun around here too.:caf:gig
