Found a surprise in the chicken run when I went to let them out—a quail. At first I was horrified I must have missed one of the chicks and the poor thing had been out all night. Then it stopped running long enough that I got a good look. A little bob white female as best as I could tell.
Wow, what did you do w/ it?

I....Ummmm...????

I have a couple of these, which always makes me stop in my tracks cause it starts off almost sounding like someone blowing a duck call... and I'm like, where tf is a pond near here?!

G'morning all.....

PIC is getting better, while I am now coming down with what he had/has. Of course. What mom DOESN'T get sick when their kiddo(s) are?!? I'm hoping it doesn't go *full on* like his..... so far, only a sore, swollen throat, headache and slight ear pain. I'm hoping I hit it with Zinc early enough.

My oldest cat, WhineyButt, hadn't been eating right for a while, so we got her into the vet. I thought her fangs were too long and interfering with her ability to eat. No.... the longest fang was infected and needed to be pulled. Because I was starting to get sick yesterday, the STDH took her in..... I feel so bad for him.. cause I've had her longer than I've had HIM... and I'd KILL HIM if anything happened to her!!! :gig yeah but no joke.

Poppy was returned yesterday afternoon, right before WhineyButt's appointment. The woman who runs the rescue completely understands.... this is the same rescue we got Buddy from.. our little dog who has the seizures.... and she's met our head dog, Wolf..... and she knows that those 2 come before any new dogs...

Twilight and Bowie are doing much better without Poppy here, too! Twilight (I love that name AND hate it at the same time), is all but potty trained! She seems to only go potty outside, and she KNOWS she'll be getting a treat. I think she'd be super easy to train with different commands.... Bowie will pee on his puppy pad... but the randomness of the poops is astounding! They are on a schedule, so no worries MAMA @staceyj .

That's about it for now.... :D

This is what I found this morning. Looks like she has accepted them.
She’s in love! :love
How old are you?
Not being nosy. It’s just that when my kids were little, we had these children’s videos on vhs tapes. They were only about a half hour. Just long enough for a little snuggle time on the couch or to keep them busy while I cooked dinner!
One was a visit to a fire station. They liked that one, but their favorite was one about a farm.
There was a song at the beginning about “down on the farm...” lots of baby animals and making and putting up hay bales.
Wow. Just the sounds of that little clip you posted sent me spinning backwards!
The moooooo! The cock-a-doodle-doo! The clicking of the mama and the peeps of her babies....
Thanks for a wonderful memory! :hugs
My oldest son was born in ‘85 the next ‘91,then 95 and 97. That’s why I asked about age.

I was born the same year as your oldest. My mom had Teaching Teddy videos that she would put on for us as well as Winnie the Pooh or Wind in the Willows (clay-mation).
