I plan on making a more detailed thread when I really start the garage to coop revamp but any thoughts on using WW overlapping?

I know HW cloth is best but tater is it expensive! I can get 100’ of 48” WW with 2”x4”openings for $45 cheaper then buying HW cloth. My thought was overlap the WW to get 1”x2” openings. Is that enough or should I suck it up and spend the $$$$?

Anyone know where to get fencing cheap in bulk? LOL

I just use welded wire, and hardware cloth a foot up so coons can't reach in and snag a bird laying on the ground. I figure if a weasel shows up i will just have to deal with it. I do insist on welded wire on top as well. Hubby thought chicken wire would be ok. Um no, remember TN?

Believe it or not amazon was my best choice for wire... No one locally had what I needed after all it's just for chickens!

@Smuvers Farm did you send the sicky gremlins my way? The poor Milk Drinker popped a 103 fever out of nowhere. He puked all over the place when I tried taking his temp the first time. Poor baby.
