My dog will sit (for hours!) and STARE at food left on a plate. He won’t usually try to take it, but he will whine and nudge closer and closer. I’m sure he would eventually go for it if given the chance. Lol

Hey Nunny, how far is this house from where you are now? Is it going to be a tough whole-house-at-once move? Or a gradual back and forth bunch of trips?

Not far at all. Problem is where I’m at I’m trying to separate my stuff from “our” stuff. I don’t have a lot of furniture here. Most of its dumpy crap we got together. All the big stuff is at my parents about 30 min away.
More difficult is with the closing date moved to later I’ll have a week to do things in the house, rehab the coop, and move. Did I mention I work everyday during the day and night that week? Hoping I can rent 2 weeks for 1/2 the month price.

Be careful and watch out for bees/ hornets/ stingy things. You could designate a burn pile area and get yourself some good wood ash for the birds too. Just don't make the fire too big and make sure you're not burning any poison ivy.

As for the crap in the house, go through it, toss the trash and have a yard sale or at least post anything that's seems of value on the buy sell trade sites. If you have to deal with it, you might as well make some $$ off it.

:oops: We can't burn stuff out here right now. We would have to wait until it rains in October or November
 
Good afternoon! Miss Ethel seems to be doing better this morning she didn't seem to be feeling good last night I don't know if it was heat or growing pains or what. I gave her some electrolytes last night and this morning and let her scratch around in the mealworm tub to cheer her up a little. She's preening alot so it maybe the feathers coming in sapping her a little. Now she's outside with the others jumping around and sunning so I take that as she feels better.:)

I was worried about the little girl, she's so dang dainty. I do think my little hens tend to be a bit dramatic, Ethel perked right up in the worm tub and once she realised I was taking pictures of her napping....Before she heard the shutter.
