I was researching Sallie just to see what i'm going to end up with and found this video which answerd a lot of my questions. Anyhoo, number 1 these are beautiful birds! Number 2 do the coops remind anyone else of clown cars? I mean how is that even possible?:gig
One important question:
How do you get them to keep those slippers on their feet!
:lau:lau:gig:lau:lau:gig:lau

Ok peeps I’m giving MYSELF one of these :yuckyuck

Ha! I have no idea lol! Did you see how many pop out? Omg! I love the roosters, i'd never do that to my girls but those shaggy roosters just made my day looking at them:)

@FlyingNunFarm ,You should get one just for the one most important reason.....the soft is real. They feel more like a teddy bear than a chicken. It is freaky but in a nice way.:caf
My Svart Hona cross has the softest feathers. They are almost silky cashmere. Brahmas are definitely on my chicken list.

You guys make me want a brahma even more! Would they be ok with my little banty?
How comical would it be seeing those two together!

I hate the black walnut trees on the property. They are beyond messy and when they drop walnuts on the roof in clumps it sounds like a parachuter crashed landed on the house

Somewhere in my photos is one of Cinders (standard dark brahma) next to Bitty (tiniest black cochin ever). They got along great.
My BSL are the reason my cochins are segregated.

No one really messes with the Brahmas and they don't mess with anyone. They really are the gentle giants in my flock.
