Just came out of lunch. I had a very interesting discussion with my biology teacher about ways to discover the gender of chickens before their hatching.

Hello Everyone. I am enjoying my first Monday off. I was able to sleep in until 9 this morning. I spent 3 hours helping my dad bolt the upright posts for the decks he will be building to their house. This is exactly the sort of projects I was hoping to be able to do with my Mondays. YAY!

I'm planning on candling tonight after dark. The room I have the incubators in gets pretty good light during the day. I put them in on Tuesday morning last week. The temps have been a little odd so, and I can't figure out what i'm supposed to set them to so.

Well, tis the start of another busy week. Between work and kids, I have no idea if I'm coming or going until it's free range kitchen chicken time. That's when I can actually sit down and actually find the non-chaotic time of the day and do things like listen to the tv while catching up on here, email and working on a 3 yr afghan for my 21 yr old.
