I just candled my eggs for the first time. You can see the results in the hatching thread. I didn't have time (or help) to take pictures though.I have been the unfortunate idiot who has cracked a single egg in BOTH of my hatching processes... under Xena AND in the brooder. Now, I am doing another incubator hatching for New Years, and I am tempted to ONLY let the PIC touch the eggs!!!

That’s sadWell since we are in confessions I accidentally killed two eggs that where three days from hatching the incubator got to hotI felt really bad about it for a week
Well I'm in a pickle. I went to shut the coop and was telling everyone goodnight and I've got extra hens two Cochins lol! I know who they belong to so i guess I'll call her in the morning and let her know they're ok. Roo is going to be heartbroken he's snuggled in between his ill gotten ladies.
