I’ve seen this that members coop before! She has gone full out Pinterest in there!

I should learn by now to swallow my coffee before I get to the last line of your posts! ALso glad you found a microwave before the defected one catches fire.

I think quail are very cute. But I only know them from the wild. They were everywhere when I lived in Arizona. Unfortunately they did not have very good traffic sense.

How many birds in total do you have cappy, compared to how many the hubs THINKS you have?

Good morning squatchers!
Good morning. Hubby thinks i have "too many" birds. I have 7 turkeys, 10 adult guineas, 28 chickens, and over 100 quail. I don't count quail, they are too small to count. And i have a bunch of juvenile guineas, about 17. Plus the babies in brooders....

um... will I get blocked if I say I might agree w/ the hubby? Although I don't know how much space you have... so that might be a very reasonable amount for you, but for me that's . Mostly b/c of the quail... what do you do w/ them anyway?

Same.

We have one that keeps zipping around. I keep thinking it's a hornet b/c if keeps buzzing me.

I had one that was HUGE and I was trying to get a close up pic of it, and that's why I found out they could fly. I screamed like a little girl. I also had one attack a cat and it bit his little face b/c it was a bit too curious.

I had to read that a couple times before I read it correctly. :lau

I have a red microwave for the same reason. Mine died suddenly last year... I didn't think about replacing a fuse. Sigh... Would have been a lot cheaper than buying a new one. I swear the new one doesn't heat as well as the old one. We use the heck out of them too. I can't justify a super expensive one if I can't be sure it's going to last long.
I hate having to replace mine, until it started blowing fuses it was a nice microwave. The only thing I didn't like was it kept beeping every 30 seconds after stuff was done to "remind" you about your crap in the microwave. I thought after that first fuse it was good but second fuse says it probably has a capacitor going bad or maybe the magneto. I do wonder why the red stuff is so much cheaper, I thought red was popular. I figured that wonk green would be cheap but nope.:)

The green is probably considered a vintage/ trendy color so it's more expensive.
I'd be worried that it'd catch fire at that point.
I had a convection toaster oven that I LOVED, then it stopped working about 6 months in. They sent me a 'refurbished' one and it had this odd electrical smell. I never felt safe using it after that and it made me angry that instead of sending me a new one, they sent me one that had been broken that they'd fixed... Fine, fix mind and send me that one back.. No, I get one w/ a completely new issue to deal with.

We have 13 acres. The quail are going to the giant swap in Glen Allen next Saturday. If they don't sell, the boys will go to freezer camp. I sell and ship hatching eggs too. That swap attracts people from at least 5 states. The last swap there were no quail left for sale early on.

I have 2 of those. I have a hen and a roo..
. How it happens no freaking clue !!

View attachment 1527505 they are both beautiful and both not small and not full size, and both very sweet...
It is common to forget that a hen holds sperm in a gland and the sperm is good for about 30 days. Somewhere in that window, an EE jumped into the mix

I hope you're talking about turkeys .:caf

Yes I'm talking about turkeys:gig

You got 21 Big Beautiful Women?!!

Jesus, Rupert Jehosophat. You go, boy. :gig :lau

Gee, I really don't count em anymore... I think I have about 40 chickens in the upper pasture and 120 in grow out pens along with 40 in the brooder.
