My first Youtube video! (Yeah, I need to get with the times, I know.) Here's one of my little wigglers!

I have 4 fertile Mystery Chicken Eggs. Hopefully at least one will be a Cemani.

My Day 4 Fergus egg is fertile!! I am going to have a beautiful little Negan and Fergus baby Serama!

I cracked the remaining 12 eggs and discarded them...they were all unfertile/not developed.

Oh wow! You're going to have some interesting looking babies. Must be the name Negan that makes them "odd" lovers, i'm lucky I got any chicks at all because to my Negan one end is as good as the other. Don't know if its because everybody is round, or his cheek puffs impare his vision or if he's just plain bad at it.

Hahaha, I'm assuming it's Negan. Cuz Grumpy--my shy little Silkied Sereama--thinks the head and neck is the business end of a hen! It's hilarious--and yet pathetic--to watch him trying to do the deed, lol!

I'm sorry about your pup Sawyer. And your chook. Someone said it, dogs do not live long enough. I say that all the time. It breaks your heart every time

Lots of molting here now too.

They get nutty as teens for sure.

Some of you may remember I had an accidental rooster last spring......
The couple that took him in are divorcing.

I cannot take him back or take in any of their hens.

I really hope they don't ask.

When I was a kid there was such a thing as “no take backs!” Think you had to call it first though, or it didn’t count!

I’m hoping this is a sprain and nothing more. No bumble. Range of motion is good. She doesn’t seem to be in pain when I manipulate her leg. It’s hard to tell cause she doesn’t really like me touching her in general.

In my opinion, Something is slipping or popping.
I’d try immobilizing that for a couple of day
If you have some vet wrap and bubble wrap you could make a little cast.

He was one of those dogs that you wish you could clone. He was wonderful.
I missed you all too. Now that it gets dark earlier hopefully I'll have more free time in the evening.

Speaking of dogs....my pit bull, Bucco, did something hilarious
last night.

He is a notorious counter surfer, and he is huge. Lately, he has been grabbing things off the kitchen island with his big mitts.

Last night, he was roaming around and then jumped on the couch next to me. I heard him licking/eating something. So I went "Bucco, what do you have?" and stuck my hand in his mouth.

He gave me a goofy look, cocked his head, and spit out this large, dog-spit-covered egg--completely intact--into my hand. Somehow, he got up on the kitchen island, put that egg in his mouth, and ever-so-gently carried it into the living room, and hopped on the couch without even so much as cracking it.

I died laughing! Then I took the egg in the kitchen where he followed me, told him he was a very good dog, and cooked it up for him, while he sat there, tail wagging.

I love that goofy dog.

This is my good dog Bucco, when he was a baby. I also call him Cletus. He's my love.

Look at that punum!!! Don't you just want to bite that nose? He will let you. Sweetest dog in the world.
