I will call the vet tomorrow just to see when their next available appointment is, and I will keep a close eye on her. She is acting perfectly fine....so far.

Is there anything I can do for her in the mean time? To make her more comfortable or something?

Just make sure she has plenty of clean water, food, and access to oyster shell.

Happy Stacey Update!!

Just talked to her briefly on the phone and she and all her critters are OK! And her house is intact, she didn't get any flooding but said a lot of houses in her town are flooded.

She's almost out of gas for her generator and it's impossible to get gas cuz the roads are all blocked or flooded, but hopefully they will be able to get some soon They're estimating the power's gonna be out maybe up to a couple weeks.

She has her chickens in the garage.

She'll text me an update tomorrow and I'll let you guys know what's up. She said the storm has passed over her area. She said to tell you all she misses you!

Gonna go watch 90 Day Fiance now (my trash-TV guilty pleasure; please do not tell anyone).

Update for us.

The Milk Drinker was asleep by 8:20 today. He only had a 20 min nap on the way to church this morning, so he was really cranky. No puke in the car today though I will be getting him a large poncho to wear over his straps to keep his seat clean.

So far we've only gotten a few spitting showers and it looks like it is going to be nasty tomorrow. Rooster culling has been cancelled due to the heavy rain expected. I'll be doing some other catch up chores tomorrow and baking a cake for my MIL birthday. Her birthday is a week from today, but my SIL will be out of town for a wedding and DH, the Milk Drinker and I will be on a work trip. So we are going to celebrate sometime this week.

Here is a cute picture from a couple days ago. My mom was sitting on the exercise ball and the Milk Drinker was trying to mimic her.

I wish I had caught a picture of him when he was sitting on the tiny ball to his right in this picture. But, of course, he moved as soon as I pulled my phone out to take a picture.
