Oooohhhhh I have plans to do a chicken applique quilt! All silhouettes of chickens is the plan.
I love the idea of a big ole chicken quilt!

Holy crap! He does know about the choices right? You can get print on denim, chiffon etc? Either he loves you or a career in basket weaving is in his near future.

Ohhh a chicken quilt or about any other kind! That one lady has over 1000 prints.

He's lucky I can show restraint!

Oh duh, I did find derp cloth on etsy. I got this pattern. Lady has 1 more pattern in 2 colors and you can get the print on all types of fabric. I can have derp everything. Ok:edit...she has a crapton of print choices i'm just blind but they aren't derps her name is SpoonFlower on there ,if ya'll ever need odd fabric check her out .View attachment 1540998

More roof! All but 1 rafter has been replaced. Sillplate and 6 studs all new.
Next is the other side of the roof. No new rafters there (hopefully) but all new underlayment is in order.

One of my friends is an author /illustrator of children’s books. She had a baby last year and was determined to teach herself to sew and wanted to start with easy stuff, so we all told her little sundresses would be a great place to start.
Sooooooo... she had fabric made of her illustrations! They turned out awesome!

Hey all. Just checking in. We made the trek from WV to MD today. We are staying with friends tonight. Tomorrow we are going to a hotel near my work site so I can go to an all hands meeting with my manager’s manager on Monday. Starting Tuesday, I have 2 weeks off. Tuesday we are going to our Dentist from when we lived in MD. Since we like them and come to the area for work, why wait? It will be the Milk Drinker’s first appointment. On Wednesday, we are going into DC to take the Milk Drinker to the National Zoo. He’s at an age that I think he will really enjoy it.

Lol. I used to make a trek from South Carolina to take my kids to a pediatric dentist in lutherville md. We loved that Man.
Have safe travels and enjoy the zoo! It’s one of the good ones!

If you have a combo embroidery/ sewing machine, a patchwork quilt, or any block quilt, with embroidered designin the center of each block. There are lots of sites for free designs that can be downloaded to the machine or storage card for the machine.

Anyone have ideas on how to reset Gurtrude's egg department?
