I spoke with the guys of the pump truck, if they come back, they will come from the other direction, which will still allow them to do the job, but won't block the 3 driveways that are across from and next to the construction site. I will be letting the property owner, or the people he has coming over regularly to monitor progress, know that the 3 of us need a day's notice if we won't be able to come and go unimpeded, and that large vehicles need to utilize the road where the are no driveways. The are 2 ways to get to the property, and one way is completely void of driveways, and doesn't block anyone from coming and going. So it's not like there are no options except when laying down the utility access. I would have thought that the property owner would be very careful about stuff that might tater off the neighbors, especially since they plan on living in the house being built. Considering how much money is involved in their mansion on a postage stamp piece of land, I would say not making the neighbors' lives difficult would be in their top 5 of the to do list. They do seem decent, but it's the people they hire that are being inconsiderate. Unfortunately, even if they tell the contractors to be courteous, it still ends up being them having to deal with it. I kinda feel bad, but not enough to give any leeway. They are ultimately responsible for what their contractors do. If the contractors aren't listening, then property owners will be informed. I'm not putting my life on hold just because someone is building a house next door. I expect top be able to go about my normal business without having to constantly ask for someone to move so I can pull out of my driveway. Maybe I'm weird, but I expect my neighbors to be able to have the same liberty to come and go as they please.
