I been doing house chores.
Mopping, dusting, laundry, etc etc.

USPS shows my package "out for delivery".
It's the quilt I sent for professional quilting. I will still need to sew on the binding.
looking forward to having it back.
I love getting packages! This one sounds super exciting!

Is that your hubby?!

OMG, love those pics...
He’s my “first husband”...
Lol. Almost 35 years.
He was such a good sport that day.
I know his clothes don’t reflect the season but it really was almost Christmas, and he was working in the yard and putting all my backyard lights up for me and sweating to death!
I was getting so frustrated because I was trying to get all the girls to keep their hats on for ONE TATERING PICTURE!

I’d get one or two or three on and no sooner would I turn my back but they’d get them off!
I begged him to just sit down for a second so I could snap a picture.

He was laughing his head off.

Trying to be a responsible home owner I go out to mow the lawn this morning. I'm going along pretty good then see a bottle with some brown liquid in. Not wanting to run it over I stop and shut off the mower. Get off and look around for any other garbage. Get back on and start the mower-- except it won't start. The digital display (no more then a calculator screen) says "low batt". Ya think!?! It won't start! I'd say the battery is low. So I disengage the hydrostatic whatever and push the lawnmower towards the driveway. There is no way I'm risking pushing this thing up hill. I'll slip and it will run me over. So I call my dad, no answer. I phone a friend and start with "Can I jump start my lawnmower with my car?" There is silence for a few and then "Wait what? Tell me what's going on."
In the end I hooked the lawnmower up and let it sit connected to my running car for 5-8 min. Luckily that was enough to give the battery enough juice to start the mower. Then I finished the front lawn and did most of out back. I hadn't picked up poop or cleared the dog area. I wasn't about to get off the mower again. So I drove it around a bit hoping to charge the battery as much as possible.
What a start to the day. LOL
