We have the largest dairy farm in the state up the road from us. Some days we get a really stinky wind from there.

Do the neighbors blame your farm animals?

Tepezcohuite can't praise that stanky goo enough. Hobo's foot looks nearly as good as new. I smeared her when I removed and before bed "she ate some" and got smeared. Smells bad, looks worse but I swear that is the best stuff for healing. Helps pain too without killing anybody. Should be in every chicken kit!

I would love 2 but have my hands full right now with my new chickens and the Serama babies. Also had my second surgery this morning......carpal tunnel. This time on my dominant hand.....this should be fun

Is your other hand healed already? I'm always fascinated how quickly they get people in to do the 2nd hand. I can handle eating apple sauce out of the container w/ a straw, but I worry about being able to get my pants up and down & wiping.

I don't mind the looks as much as my hens being blamed for things like the smell of the tomato silage, Flies that come from the same source and rats from the wheat fields. Luckily we are legally allowed to have them here but the visits from Animal Control are a nuisance!

Sometimes I do not like some of my neighbors. I sometimes think I am being trolled by them on BYC too!

Knock on wood...I have not had any neighbor complaints or visits from animal control

@apryl29 It is a mexican pomade. It is the shiznit. Not the fru fru stuff they sell for beauty. The real stuff comes in a gnarly black plastic jar it looks like dirty vasaline and smells like motor oil. You'd never think it was helpful based on all this but can't beat it for wounds and burns.

The other hand is better but not 100 percent yet. They removed the stiches while I was under and I have slight bruising still. The next couple days will be the worst so I'll have to wear very loose pants that I can pull up and down easily or just live in nightgowns for a few days. And yes......wiping is a challenge.
