I have a weird thing happening. At this same time last year my D'ucclle starting sneezing and sounded very congested. I immediately brought her in the house, treated her with Vet RX under each wing and on her head and throat. Fed her some canned mackeral and kept her inside and away from the other chickens for 6 days. She did fine, ate and drank well, so I put her back out with her friends. Nobody else ever got sick and she continued sneezing ever since. When we have them out in the yard, DH and I always snicker cuz we always know where she is cuz we can hear her sneeze. Anywho.........she starting sounding gurgly and congested again....exactly like last year and same time of year. So I brought her in again and did the same things I did last time. That was 2 days ago. Her comb is still bright red, no fluid in nose or eyes and she is eating and drinking fine and seems fine otherwise. I don't get it??? Nobody else is sick......could she have allergies? Wth??
That is what it sounds like to me. Usually the goldenrod that gets me.

Morning all :frow

Sammy beautiful birds
For all the molters soooo sorry you're grumpy

chicky for pepper in bulk, checkout https://www.webstaurantstore.com/ you can get 5 pounds for less than 15 bucks.

Also, chicky when and where were you in Japan? I wouldn't even attempt Kanji now, but I wasn't bad back in the day when I lived there. Spent 3 years in Misawa, but traveled all over the country. Akido was my favorite.
Thanks!! Luckily there are not feathers everywhere unfortunately there are not much eggs either

We don't do trick or treat around here as we're too rural... My street is a mile long and has 5 houses on it. All but two have a quarter mile driveways. So instead we do Trunk or Treat. Local churches, walmart and other places have a designated time to arrive and a section of the parking lot marked off. Cars all get parked and then the kids go car to car to get their treats. Ours was a either Saturday or Sunday. The kids had a blast.

Morning suzi:frow
Same thing here except it’s raining like crazy so I guess no trunk or treat either

@Suzi18 I would keep an eye for runny nose or eyes but sounds like she got something up her nose.
When I hear a sneeze I give colloidal silver. It kills bacteria like there is no tomorrow. (and there isn't, for bacteria) I will actually tip their back and put a drop over each nare. That way it goes through their sinus track and down their throat. Then I'll give them a little to drink too.
