It bugs me too. And it IS gross.
I’m a daily picker- upper too. Most days twice. I have two dogs. It’s gross to just leave it.

Have you ever noticed how even in the dark, a dog rarely if ever steps on a poop.
But boy if I miss picking one up, :barnieI’ll find it!

:mad::he:mad::he:mad: Throw about 50 pairs of shriveled up dailywear contacts on that floor and stick a few to the wall and toilet too, just for good measure. mound that trashcan up level with the toilet seat and that will explain why my one daughter “only” has glasses now, and I’m sometimes relieved she’s not living here.
Surprisingly, she manages to keep her bathroom at the house she’s sharing with friends relatively clean.
That tells me she COULD do it all along. Just didn’t want to.
Why are teenagers such taterholes?:idunno

I have 27 of or way beyond laying age. I am getting an average of 12 a day. Some days I get just a few but others I get up to 17. Mine slacked off all summer though.

There are 3 dogs total next door.

I have 4 here. Yup if I miss a prize guaranteed I will find it the hard way next trip out.
I grab the scoop every time mine go out. That's a lot of scoop grabbin to be sure. Some trips there is no prize, just piddles.
I definitely don't miss many poops that way.
 
Eggs? Surely you Jest.

The last day I got eggs was two days before the hurricane. They spent 3 days in the garage through the wind and howling wind and rain of that slow moving storm.

Then they’ve taken turns molting. One of my buffs is starting to grow her tail back, she was the first. That was 6 or 7 weeks ago I think.

I suppose I won’t see any now til spring.

I’ve been buying eggs at Trader Joe’s again.

I have five females and most days I get 1 egg(from my legbar Peep). My SS hen and my buff cochin hen are in a hard molt. My white cochin was still laying regularly until about a week ago. She still pops out the occasional egg though. My other pullet STILL hasn't started laying. And Roux is just for pretty.
