Official Squatch Watchers

:goodpost:

This has been my experience.

I would average my cochins at 2 a week over the course of a year.
Just not supreme layers.......BUT mine do tend to very long lives which makes me happy.
Yes! They will lay eggs longer over their life time

You know if you just have hens for enjoyment mostly how many eggs do you really need anyway? I'd way rather have nice, happy, long living sparse layers than mean little egg machines that are going to peter out pretty fast and not be pleasant to keep.:)
Exactly!

This is the time of the year when there are a lot of posts about the second winter hens not laying eggs...What is wrong with them? Some even get defensive when told it is completely normal and insist there has to be something wrong.

The answer is usually to wait until spring

I thought it was just another way to remind those of us that can't bake that we REALLY can't bake.:gig
Baking is science! Think of it as Chemistry class where you had to weigh and measure chemicals carefully and then use the correct heat and time to get the reaction expected.

Also practice helps...but can make you gain some inches!...blissful inches....

I can do it, but I need to be chained to the stove so I don't get distracted. Distractions are my downfall, leads to alot of really tan goodies.:)

I have 4 timers so that I do not forget steps and baking time!

It is easy to lose track of things, especially when making a big dinner like Thanks Giving!

Yes! Timers, timers, timers!

I set mine a couple minutes short of what the recipe calls for so I can head off any overly tanned.

Yes! I use the lowest time in a recipe unless it is one a cook all the time

I can't wait to see pics. I love frizzles

These 2 are frizzles from the first batch.

I got my key working yes! No help from the store btw. Answer from them was they'll resell the key then refund me..um no. Tried to tell me it couldn't be used, oook then obviously they think i'm dumb. Done with them, shouldn't have bothered. Have been VPN hopping this morning until I found one that would play nice and now i'm happily downloading my game. Experience has taught me, this company does not read your replies in any sort of way. Also think they bait and switched. When I bought the key no region was noted only when I collected the key was it there. Lesson learned, customer lost. Good job key people.:)
