@pitbullmomma , Please tell me your hubs doesn't sing those dumb songs from The Wedding Singer. Mine has a favorite to sing (NSFA) :gigOh,there is some language and it is dumb so not safe for anywhere .

He was playing that part REALLY LOUD and pointedly ignoring me, cuz he knew it would drive me crazy.

Actually, he makes his own goofy music videos, kind of like Weird Al. He will dress up and everything sometimes. He plays guitar (used to play lead in a rock band) and it is quite hilarious. He has done everything from Eminem to Neil Young and it's hysterical....

Oh man, that is hilarious.....that SOUND!

Some of my boys when they first start, sound so pathetic. They're trying their best but just aren't there yet. Then the mature roosters will show them how it's done, not sure if it's a shaming or teaching session. But they are sooooo proud when they finally achieve a real crow.

I've often wondered what my neighbors thought about the 4:00AM crowing... The one closest loves it (reminds her of her childhood) The one on the far end, doesn't hear it until she wakes up, but her dad aint real happy with it. But he likes the free eggs and the occasional chicken so he'll tolerate it. But really, do they need to crow at 4:00 AM. Can we negotiate to 4:30 or 5:00?

I think they crow when they hear me on the deck because the crowing is always followed by a volley of duck quacks.

Nunny! I heard you snickering shame on you! :gig
I think I have the worlds first transgender chicken! At almost 26 weeks....
Guess who scored some really, really, bright chicken long johns? Meeee! They are for 14 year old boys but they fit and I can't possibly not be seen. I'm not showing full body, long johns have no secrets ya know.:p

Wouldn't surprise me if Pat still managed to lay an egg. :gig

Chicky how could I not laugh!?! I have chickens not geese.

Now I need a new name. Petunia was funny. I kept calling him Big Bird too. He is the right color. Hhhmmm...

Clearly he has everyone in the coop confused...after that honk, I mean, crow you can see the white OE start to dance for him.:lau

What a nice variety. I hope they were wrapped well. I had an acquaintance who had a ferret that died and she loved it so much that she put it's corpse into her freezer. Then took it with her each time she moved. I'm not sure why she didn't just have it cremated. Did you intentionally keep all that stuff, or did you just forget about it.. mostly asking about the eel.

I've also got the I'll put it in the freezer for the chickens stash.. Glad I'm not the only one. Then it sits there forever and I forget about it and it gets all ice crystally.

They're really good at playing the victim. It's like in school where one kid is being picked on constantly and no one sees it, but then the teacher sees when that kid finally smacks the jerks back & gets in trouble. Chickens are very manipulative.

Awww she's a sad molter too. Poor thing. I growl when I go to bed too, sometimes.

I'll take your word for it.

I can't tell if you're :lau b/c of innuendo, or b/c it's describing someone.

Poor thing. She just wants to be a mama. It's as convenient as them molting when it's 4 degrees outside. Dude, this is WHY you have feathers, why are you getting rid of them NOW? SMH.

I get that. I was kinda like Whoa when a person came out of me. I assume the first couple times a chicken would be like I just thought it was a big poop.

William is a bantam and I had to move him the other night to clean the poop from under him (he sleeps on the plastic trash can I use for a feed bin) and the spot where he was sitting was toasty warm. I can't vouch for the rest of his body, but his feet were nice and warm. The naked ones are the ones I worry about.

It's nice that he's understanding about being interrupted. My ex would pitch a fit if I dared to interrupt his game, and that was before live gaming even existed. He also had anger issues and was about as selfish as a person could be. It's not like the games couldn't be paused. This isn't 1984 playing on an atari.

Oh.. no... I hope that doesn't mean... cabbage farts! :sick

The frizzle is adorable!!! Do they do well in cold weather?

Spot remover.

:lau

I'll show myself out.
:yuckyuck

I won't lie I snickerd too, that whole little clip is hilarious. I love that half arsed wing flap, the "crow", the confusion dance and that snicker at the end. I'm still not sure what Pat actually is because that is the weirdest "crow" iv'e ever heard. Its like it wasn't natural. :gig
