Cappy......do you happen to know what kind of bunnies these are?

Whew Lordy, that boy (the Milk Drinker) almost gave me a heat attack not that long ago.

I had taken him over to my parents. I went out to the garage and got a seltzer in a can. The boy wanted some of it and when there was less than an inch in it, I let him have the can. He hasn't had any problems with having a can before so I didn't think anything of it. After 5 minutes, I hear him gagging. I look over and he is choking on something and I see that the tab is missing from the can. I immediately knew what had happened. He was choking on the tab. I got up bent him over and beat him on the back with an open palm. That helped him bring it up and I was able to fish it out of his mouth. It scared the crap out of him (figuratively speaking) because he started crying. He hardly ever cries unless he is really hurt or scared. I weren't pregnant, I would have asked my dad for a glass of wine after that.

When I brought him back home, he went to my MIL for his "Grandma Story Time" but I wanted to tell her what happened. That stinker started saying "Bye Mommy!" over and over interrupting the story. We had to chasten him a few times before he let me finish. My MIL turned to him when I was done and said to him "That is why you don't put things in your mouth. Was that scary?" He looked at me and whispered "Bye". I usually drop him off and leave right away and I was ruining his routine by talking out my trauma.

Stinker.
There is no rest once you have kids.
And sorry Rae (so far) I mean -never.

Well that's a heart attack!

I am beyond glad he is ok.

Well I can tell it is going to snow, just saw the one mandatory "its gonna snow mouse" ran right in front of the cat, she did nothing. I'm not surprised she only eats bugs. The chickens were also b*tchy. They didn't want to let Ethel and Dutch on their roost, the only two besides Sallie that never cause trouble. Those two have formed like a little spotted gang. It is wierd they're named after my 95 year old great aunt and her 92 year old lady friend so them bunching up is ironic.:gig

Ugh. I hate that “ I might be getting sick” feeling !

I keep that stuff emergen-C on hand.
It sort of tasty.
Super orange is the best I think.
Massive dose of c and b’s
I tell myself it’s TANG!
Remember that stuff?
Yes, i used to eat Tang when i was a kid. Do you remember those foil wrapped things that were kind of chocolatey that the astronaughts were supposedly eating?

They are super cute for sure!

Are you looking for small, friendly bunnies?

Years ago we took in 4 that turned into 14 really quick. They were mini lop and netherland dwarf.
A coworker of mine gave me a female netherland dwarf that her 5 year old won at the fair.
She was very very sweet and super tiny! Not to mention her otter coloring.
:love

If I were to look at getting another bunny that's what I would look for.

I hope you find the right bunny.

Actually I'm thinking about getting a pair of bunnies. 2 spayed females. I'd like to keep them in a hutch inside my chicken run. That way they are under a roof, protected from predators and hopefully they will eventually enjoy the company of the chickens .
I think in the spring I will see if there are any up for adoption at a nearby shelter. Ideally id like to find a pair already together
