Do you mean the “freeze dried ice cream” ?Yes, i used to eat Tang when i was a kid. Do you remember those foil wrapped things that were kind of chocolatey that the astronaughts were supposedly eating?

@staceyj and one of the other gals with the puking dogs (@21hens-incharge or @FlyingNunFarm ?)....
Tere is something called "Bilious vomiting syndrome" in dogs. It is totally benign and very easy to fix. The dog either pukes up yellow or green bile in the middle of the night or in the AM. It is from too much stomach acid, and/or the stomach being empty.
You give them a small (non-fatty) snack right before bed. You can also give them Pepcid (I"d have to look up the dose, but I will if you need it) in the evening. If that does the trick, then you have just avoided a vet visit and an expensive workup.
The caveat is: As long as your dog is healthy- appearing and acting, is not losing weight, has a good appetite, and no other signs or symptoms.
Dr. Cindi over and out!![]()
Actually I'm thinking about getting a pair of bunnies. 2 spayed females. I'd like to keep them in a hutch inside my chicken run. That way they are under a roof, protected from predators and hopefully they will eventually enjoy the company of the chickens .
I think in the spring I will see if there are any up for adoption at a nearby shelter. Ideally id like to find a pair already together
Good morning, peeps! It's the wonderful weekend!
I finished my first week on the new job flying solo, and I think it was a success! I'm really liking it there, and am slowly figuring out how to create a new office and system that works for me (the nurse who retired was there 30 years, and she was a bit of a hoarder, with papers and files everywhere, lol).
I just caught up on all the posts, there were almost 300 to catch up on!I still need to respond to many of your "awful in-laws" stories and words of wisdom (and I really appreciate it) because so much of that was so moving, and resonated so deeply.
I feel so much better for speaking my mind to DH and his mother, and saying "I will not take this anymore."
My husband informed hs family that I will not be coming to any of the upcoming family get-togethers this Christmas, and not until I decide to
He is leaving for FL on Monday to spend the week with his rotten kids. (yay! I get to be by myself with the critters, and with you all!)
And here is a small triumph. His family is having a birthday dinner tomorrow for his sister (the one with the ignorant nephew). DH told her that not only was I not going, that he was going to do something with me beofre he goes to FL, and will not be going either! He gave her a card and money and that's that.
I don't think he's ever done that before (usually, he would just go by himself and make some lame excuse for me). But that was him making a stand and sticking up for me, and that is something!
It's a start, right?
I don't remember what they called them.Do you mean the “freeze dried ice cream” ?
Are you kidding me?!? That’s WAY better than just a start!Good morning, peeps! It's the wonderful weekend!

We have one rabbit. He was a door the moment, free rabbit at a swap that my daughter begged for. Oreo lives in the living room and is extremely social. I'm sure he's just a mutt but he's a sweet mutt lol
Here he is, waking up his "mama" (DD)

it's a start!
Thanks Doc!
Yup it's Stacey's puppy Cooper and my sons dog Delilah.
With Delilah it is what I refer to empty tummy syndrome.
She is fine as long as she gets a little something at 8pm and again at 5 am.
I am glad your hubs is taking a stand.
