I have cleaned her nares over and over.....she sneezes every day and snores at night (it's kind of cute) even when inside. I just can't figure it out. She never sneezed until last years molt and now sneezes all the time

I've got a bag stash! I reuse gift boxes too. This year I bought my girls a bunch of different bath products and face masks and just stuffed them all into one shirt box.
I'm kinda the same way.. it doesn't feel like xmas, every day just feels like chaos. We'll be baking pies soon so that might help things be a bit more xmasy.. to much crazy stuff going on with everything. I'm not a holiday person to begin with, but this year it's kinda like eh. I was telling my kids this morning that it'd be awesome to just skip xmas and go on a cruise. My older one said it's too cold, but down south it'd be nice enough. I've got 20 years til I retire and when I get there my plan is that I'm going to doing and xmas cruise and if it's as amazing as I think it'll be I'm going to do that every year.

Have you tried to Oreo candy canes yet? They're surprisingly good.



I stopped to check on the birds when I dropped off my nephew this morning and Toothless was sitting in the nesting box!!! I'm 87% sure this new egg is from her. I hope that means she'll be nice now. She's been Miss Attitude recently & has always been very flighty when I'd try to catch her.

Gift bags aren't lazy. They're better for the environment and can be reused. I make bags from wrapping paper for odd sized items that are hard to wrap, like shoes or stuffed animals. I used it this year to wrap my kids' boots. (I just tape the top flap down instead of using the hole punch b/c I'd have to FIND the hole punch.



Odin was sleeping on the edge of the nesting boxes before I got the roost up. He had a limp for a long time, but eventually got better.


There is something else, though I'm not sure if they're limited in when they can use it. The orthopedic surgeon told my mom about it when she got her hip replacement. Not sure if she ever got it b/c her other dr told her he didn't want her getting any additional treatments until her hip had healed completely and she had corrected her walking.

I'm proud of you for waiting til hours later to laugh at her. I would have been laughing as soon as she was found to be ok at the bottom of the steps. Next time instead of walking down the stairs have her sit and butt scoot down the steps, and crawl up the steps. It's more gross when it's in a public place, but you could always have her wear gloves on her hands so they don't get so gross.

I don't think they are dumped possums, we live in a fairly remote place in the woods. At the end of a dirt road, off of another dirt road.
 
My bag stash is huge and old! Iv'e got bags with old school my little pony on them lol! And yes iv'e tried the oreo canes, very nice! My fav so far this year have been the nerd canes, sour candy cane just coated with nerds. :)
