Chicken explosion at my house!

Found an old box from the exs Great Grandma. She made all of them.

Aren't they though? The thing that kept me from adding one when I got the last little girls was price....man those jubilees are expensive! One chick was fourty dollars, that was more than Sallie, Ethel, Rene and Dutch combined. I have way too bad of luck to have an expensive chick.

That's a bargain! This lady charges 85 and up for hers! I better start saving now

Good morning all.....can I just complain for a moment?......
Oh good I knew you'd all say yes......

Christmas day came down with fever, chills and extreme fatigue. This lasted 2 days.......then the sore throat and congestion........now absolutely no sense of smell and my ears are plugged. Everything is started to loosen up so hopefully this means good things. Ok....done complaining.

I'm making my spring chicken wish list. .....I'd like a BCM, another OE, an Isbar and 2 EE bantams. There are many more I'm interested in but that's my hope for this Spring. What's on y'alls wishlist????

My wish list, I'm just going to make on my own this year. I have one little BLRW that I'm crossing with the BBS orps to see if I can make some big, blr orp-ish chickens. The other cross I'm going to play with is silkie feathered lavender ameraucana x black showgirl to try to eventually get to blue egg laying lavender show girls I have sex linked F2 OE in the incubator now so I'm curious to see how Olive the eggs end up being
